Get your credit report and FICO score before taking care of your business. At least you know where you stand. Then you can go from there. Anything on your credit report that should not be there? Dispute it. Write or give them a call. You can do your own credit repair. Even if you are way over your head? Dispute it and get your credit fixed. It is just going to take a bit longer.
